'Bully: Scholarship Edition' has just been released on the Wii, but eight international teacher groups say it "trivialises and glorfiies bullying in school".

We heard taunts against 'Bully' when it was released in 2006, but now that players will actually be able to act out the fisticuffs on the Wii controller, things are heating up.

National Union of Teachers general secretary Steve Sinnott says "a game that rewards bullies and those who engage in brutal and savage attacks is irresponsible in the extreme". He wants retailer HMV, among others, to withdraw the game from sale.

HMV say they "do not censor content that has been cleared by the BBFC [British Board of Film Classification]".

Have the teachers missed the point? 'Bully' is not a game about a bully; it's about the new kid fighting back bullies. Game producer Rockstar say it is a "fictional story that portrays a comic and exaggerated view...with merciless tongue-in-cheek humour".

So is 'Bully' escapism and revenge fantasy, Harry Potter style? Or does it just glorfiy bullying? Use words, not actions, to tell us what you think in the comments link below.
