Pirates VS Ninjas Dodgeball Headed to Wii

Even before the Internet was born, geeks everywhere have often wondered, "In a fight between Ninjas and Pirates, who would win?" Both imaginary icons from our childhood are incredibly awesome: ninjas have the element of surprise working for them, while pirates have boats, swords, cannons and wicked-cool parrots. In the upcoming Xbox Live (and now Wii) game from Gamecock, players will finally get the chance to find out which historical anachronism would, in the case of an imporbable fight, emerge victorious.

Even better, Gamecock is giving players a bunch of new modes and features on the Wii. The title features two ancient rivals, ninjas and pirates, along with several other teams, all looking to settle the score once and for all - on the dodgeball court. The game allows for up to eight players and offers a total of seven teams, including pirates, ninjas, robots and zombies plus three unannounced mythical teams. Each squad must utilize its own unique techniques and strategies to try and ultimately defeat the enemies. Unique to Wii version, the game will offer all-new story and challenge modes, along with several customized control schemes.

Pirates Vs Ninjas Dodgeball will arrive on the Wii later this winter.
