Next Generation? We never had it so good

Despite the heated battle among the big three consoles showing no signs of abatement, and fans apparently mirroring this at times with opinions flying left and center, an article on Product Reviews Net states that we should all stop the bickering as it appears we have never had it so good.

It is hard not to agree with them, when you consider the choice on offer, it seems we are all spoilt more than ever. Whether PC gamer, PS2 or PS3 junkie, or Xbox or Nintendo Wii fan, there is now so much to available, with next generation graphics, amazing arcade level gameplay and a plethora of retro titles to choose from through backwards compatibility. Could we have said the same thing 20 or even 10 years ago? No, back then we probably wouldn't have been arguing, but would simply have been happy with whatever we were given.
