Try repeating our headline as fast as you can, five times in a row. Fans of Capcom's Monster Hunter series were similarly toungue-twisted today at the sight of new screnshots from the upcoming Monster Hunter 3. The game received a massive 9-page spread in this month's issue of Famitsu magazine, which revealed all-new details and environments that will be inlcuded in the Wii-exclusive game, set to release next year.
Up until now, brave monster hunters have had to take on some pretty incredible beasts. First, there were wyverns, which by themselves are terrifying enough. Then there were giant rock monsters, electrified cave slugs, enormous pink gorillas and invisible dragons. After all of that punishment, there was really only one place that Capcom could send us: underwater.
That's right, the new Monster Hunter will see players taking on the shark and monster-infested depths of the ocean on their quest to scavenge body parts and become the ultimate slayer of nasty things. Check out the scans below for a glimpse of these new environments, as well as some shots of the updated, maritime-themed central hub.
